Richard Parker — Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Park Blue Group

Richard Parker is the Founder and Chief Executive of Park Blue Group, a specialist provider of children’s residential care.

He founded the organisation in 2013 with a single home in Durham and has led its growth into a national group of 23 Ofsted-regulated homes supporting children with complex needs.  His experience spans strategic leadership, governance, acquisitions, finance and regulated services, built through a decade of operating in an inspected environment rather than acquired at a distance from it.

Richard is also the founder of Armaris.com, a safer recruitment technology platform built for the care sector, sporting and charity organisations, developed in response to the workforce and vetting pressures he encountered directly as an operator.

Across both organisations his focus is innovation, safeguarding and improving outcomes for vulnerable children.
