Martin was the founder and designer of SmartSearch, a leading UK-based AML/KYC compliance platform, which he built from inception into a business serving thousands of clients across the financial services and regulated sectors before its sale to Triple Private Equity. He brings deep expertise in RegTech, financial services, and building technology-led businesses at scale.

Since the sale, Martin has focused on angel investing and non-executive director roles, supporting founders and boards with strategic, commercial, and governance guidance drawn from his own experience building and scaling a market-leading platform.
